  • This tester applies high torque to gears, thus testing the fatigue strength of the material.
  • The tester is so designed that its torque circulates. It can therefore be driven with a motor having low horsepower. It thus saves power.
  • A weight can be used to make automatic torque loading a reality by using torque load, motor, and oil pressure.

This tester is designed particularly for testing and studying scoring and pitching due to gear fatigue and galling and seizure due to lubricants. It also enables fabrication of an IAE gear lubricants tester.
