  • The purpose of the block on ring friction tester is to evaluate pressure resistance and durability of lubricants and lubricity of metal materials.

The block on ring friction tester is designed to perform load bearing test of lubricant oil or lubricants and measurement of metal-to-metal friction coefficient.
The block on ring tester is in accordance with standard ASTM D2714 and JASO M358 to evaluate CVT oil for automatic transmissions.
